It is time for the annual pilgrimage to Greenbuild

The Greenbuild 2011 International Conference and Expo in Toronto is just around the corner (October 4-7), and we’re excited to be gearing up for the event. In addition to the outstanding line-up of speakers and presenters, there will be all kinds of activities in which participants can take part.

Most importantly, it is a chance for you to catch up with the latest development at Sefaira, as we will be exbitin at the conference showing some of our latest technologies for green building design. Details on how to find us at the bottom of the post.

Here are some of the most recent updates and practical tips for the conference:

• The USGBC’s Leadership Awards Luncheon on October 6 will highlight some of the visionaries in the green building industry, including people and projects like energy efficiency retrofit business owner Anthony E. Lamkin, the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas, and Kelly Caffarelli of the Home Depot Foundation.
• The Best of Canada education sessions will give you many opportunities to see green building in real life.
• Learn about the two Legacy Projects that have been chosen for this year’s Greenbuild legacy tradition: Chimney Court Children’s Greenhouse and The Gateway Gardens Project.
• Alex Wilson of BuildingGreen.com will be presenting their Top-10 Products on Thursday at 2:30 (session SU04).
• Don’t forget to read through the 2011 Energy Efficiency Indicator before you come to have front of mind what’s on executives’ minds when it comes to energy and investments.
