New version of of Sefaira Concept Just Released!

I am very pleased to announce that we have just released a new version of Sefaira Concept. Here is a summary of the top new features included in this release:

• Greater Collaboration - Upload your project documents directly to your project, and share across the team. No more emailing files as attachments!
• Toggleable Strategies - Complete control of building strategies. You can now turn strategies on and off with just a click - perfect for evaluating renewable energy options.
• SketchUp Import - To ensure floor area of your massing designs are captured accurately, we have introduced an advanced algorithm which calculates floor areas with increased accuracy, especially for buildings with non-uniform profiles.

Greater Collaboration

We noticed that many customer teams sit together and organize ideas and project files in Excel(tm) and Word(tm) documents. When the meeting ends, they send these documents in emails and very soon, there are long chains of emails for multiple projects all over the place. Not to mention transferring those huge 3D renderings for project competitions over email or FTP. Now Sefaira Concept lets you upload files associated with projects directly to the Sefaira Cloud, where the files can be safely and securely shared with your team. To use this feature, just click on the “View Files” button.

Toggleable Strategies

Based on popular feedback, we’ve made key strategies in our Envelope and Renewable dimensions toggleable. This new feature allows you to see - at a glance - whether a specific strategy has been turned on or off and thus applies to the overall building performance.

SketchUp Import

We’ve improved our SketchUp floor area calculation algorithm. Now, for non-uniform massings, the SketchUp importer provides highly accurate floor areas.

• We’ve added back Optimize Glazing Ratio as a strategy to the Envelope dimension
• Improvements to the look and feel of Concept Comparison, SketchUp floor to ceiling height calculation, and Project Console
• Addition of new Future Climate locations for the United Kingdom
